Fees

How the rate is calculated
KivoraPay sources its live USDT/NGN rate from the Bybit P2P market: specifically the median of the top available buy-side ads. This gives a realistic, market-based rate rather than an arbitrary fixed number.
The rate shown on your dashboard refreshes every 30 seconds. The rate used for your deposit is locked the moment your transaction is detected on the blockchain: not when you send it, and not when you open the app.
Rate locking protects you from price movement while your transaction is in transit. What you see when your deposit is detected is what you get.
