How to Deposit USDT, USDC, or Bitcoin

Step-by-step: how deposits work, which networks are supported, and how your rate gets locked.

Depositing crypto into KivoraPay is straightforward. You send to your unique deposit address, and your balance is credited automatically. Here is exactly how it works.

Supported assets and networks

  1. 1

USDT (Tether): Solana network only. Do not send USDT on Ethereum, TRC-20, or any other network.

  2. 2

USDC (USD Coin): Solana network only.

  3. 3

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin mainnet. Minimum deposit equivalent to $20.

Sending the wrong asset or using the wrong network will result in permanent loss. Always double-check the network before sending.

Finding your deposit address

Tap "Fund a Bill" on your dashboard. Select your asset (USDT, USDC, or BTC). Your unique deposit address for that asset will be shown. Copy it carefully and paste it into your sending wallet or exchange.

How rate locking works

Your naira conversion rate is locked the moment your transaction is detected on the blockchain: not when you initiate the send, and not when you open the app. This means you do not lose value to price movement while your transaction is in transit.

For USDT and USDC on Solana, detection is near-instant. For Bitcoin, your balance is credited after two blockchain confirmations, which typically takes between ten and thirty minutes.

Deposit fees

KivoraPay charges no deposit fees. The only cost is the conversion margin applied when your rate is locked: 1.5% for USDT and USDC, and 2% for Bitcoin. This margin is disclosed before your value is credited. There are no hidden charges.

If your deposit does not reflect

If your balance has not updated after five minutes (for Solana) or thirty minutes (for Bitcoin), go to the Deposits section in your dashboard and submit a manual claim. Enter your transaction hash and our team will verify and credit your balance within two hours.

Log in to your KivoraPay account to find your deposit address and get started.
