Account Security and Two-Factor Authentication

How to protect your KivoraPay account with 2FA and what to do if you lose access.

Your KivoraPay account controls access to your payment balance. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect it.

Enabling 2FA

  1. 1

Go to your Profile page from the dashboard.

  2. 2

Scroll to the Two-Factor Authentication section and tap "Enable 2FA".

  3. 3

A QR code will appear. Scan it with an authenticator app: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy all work.

  4. 4

Enter the 6-digit code shown in your authenticator app to confirm.

  5. 5

2FA is now active on your account.

Once enabled, you will be required to enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app each time you log in, in addition to your password.

Disabling 2FA

You can unenroll from 2FA at any time from the same section on your Profile page. You will be asked to confirm before 2FA is removed.

Account lockout

If too many failed login attempts are made on your account, it will be temporarily locked. If you see a lockout message, contact our support team to restore access.

Password reset

If you forget your password, go to the login page and tap "Forgot password". Enter your email address and we will send a reset link. The link expires after a short period: if it has expired, request a new one.

Never share your password or 2FA codes with anyone. KivoraPay staff will never ask for these.

Go to your profile to enable 2FA and secure your account.
